We recently went on a long weekend trip to Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort. It was so much fun! We really only had two full days there but we tried to squeeze in all the activities we possibly could at this wonderful resort. The resort itself is situated between a marina and marshland on the Broadcreek River and is a little over a mile from the beach. But don't let that discourage you! When you make it to the beach, there is the Disney Beach House with a lot of amenities, including a pool, located on the beach for resort guests. Disney describes the resort as "a warm home-away-from-home—fashioned after a 1940’s hunting and fishing lodge." We found it to be a relaxed, old fashioned family fun atmosphere. The staff were friendly and courteous just as you expect and admire from Disney. We loved it! ACTIVITIES Like I said before, there is a lot to do! We really want to return one day to just relax and partake in some of the activities we missed. Here
