Cinderella's Dining at Citricos

Getting dining reservations at Disney World is not easy!  So I was super excited to get reservations at Citricos with Cinderella and her Princess friends!!  We were celebrating a big birthday for my daughter (10) so it was even more special.  We started off with a bakery basket filled with turnovers, muffins and croissants. For the entree, I had the grilled ham and biscuit.  This dish came with poached eggs but I substituted for potatoes because I am not an egg person. My son had the Mickey waffles (a must do on any Disney visit).  Did you notice the cups?  They turn blue when they are cold and guess what?  You get to keep them :) What a fun keepsake, especially since this is a limited time location while the castle is being refurbished.  And then.....there was the dessert: The picture does not give the little blue topped cream puff justice .  It was a perfect match to Cinderella's dress.    Speaking of Cinderella, we met her as we walked into the restau

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is going to be wonderful when all the construction is over!  First off, my family and I are HUGE Disney fans!!! I LOVE Walt Disney World!  Whenever I feel like we need a little family time Disney is where I want to be :)  There is something for everyone.  We have a 13 year old, a 10 year old and a 3 year old.  With that age diversity Disney World is perfect for us. We stayed at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort in January in a club level garden view room.  The room was spacious for our party of five.  We got the garden view because we are hardly in the room while at Disney and the view was not that important on this trip for us.  On a side note, the club lounge offers a fabulous view through out the day!   The only drawback on the room itself was that there was not a full length mirror in the room.  But I guess that is fine, I really didn't want to see my tennis shoes anyway ;)  Here are a few other pictures of the room.

The Journeys of Five

I LOVE to travel!!  I LOVE the anticipation, the planning and the actual adventure with my wonderful family!  I LOVE to capture all the moments and memories I can with photographs.  With three children I capture a lot of memories! But I have to say... I am such the procrastinator with getting the digital pictures organized and documented.  I am hoping this blog will give me the motivation to document all the wonderful memories.  Thank you for traveling on these Treasured Family Journeys with me!  The picture below was taken last summer on a family trip to Dorado Beach in Puerto Rico.  My husband and I celebrated our 15th Anniversary there.  I will definitely post on that trip :)
