5 Light Weight, Easy to Pack Items You Might Want to Take on Your Next Cruise

1) Zip-Lock  Baggies :   I love these for so many reasons! I usually like to bring about 5 of the gallon size baggies and then a handful of the sandwich size.  I just stick them all inside one on the gallon size baggies.  They don't weigh much and they are so helpful!  I pack these on all our trips even the short journeys.  They are also perfect in your backpack for a day in the parks!   ~Got a wet swim suit you need to pack in your suitcase...… stick it in a baggie! (but don't forget to take it out as soon as you get home!)  ~Have an open container of treats for your little one or yourself or several of the chocolates they leave for you at night.... stick it in the baggie!   ~Have a ton of little memories from your cruise (animation drawings, kids crafts they make in the kid's club, etc. )….. stick it in a baggie! You get the point!   They are super helpful! 2) Liquid Soap :   I like liquid soap because I just feel like it

Inn on Biltmore Estate

The Biltmore Estate is ravishing and keeps our family returning time and time again.  My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary at the Biltmore Estate this year and as a gift to ourselves we stayed at the beautiful Inn on Biltmore Estate.  Upon check in we were delightfully surprised to have been upgraded to a suite!!  Up we went to the 4th floor and into the Burghley Suite.  The suite was spectacular and the views from the windows were amazing!  For dinner, we dined at The Bistro.  Their menu does change seasonally.  Here's a few pictures of what we had but you can see their current menu  here . We enjoyed every bite of what we devoured ;) Speaking of food we had the bed and breakfast package and were able to have room service deliver our breakfast.  Take a look at the beautiful breakfast they have at the Inn on Biltmore Estate: During our visit we also took the Upstairs/Downstairs Tour in the mansion.  I wo

St. Regis Atlanta Visit in January 2016

The St. Regis Atlanta  was enjoyable from beginning to end.  I can't say enough about the staff as they were AMAZING!  We were celebrating my daughter's birthday during our one night stay at the  St. Regis Atlanta   and she was treated like a princess ;) On this hotel stay, we were traveling as a family of four since my eldest daughter was staying with a friend in the Atlanta area.  When we arrived at the hotel my son and daughter were greeted at check in with a cute stuffed bear wearing a St. Regis Atlanta t-shirt (my four year old son named his "I love Mommy" :) ).  I reserved the Superior Room   since I knew we wouldn't be using the balcony on this trip and we were only a party of four instead of our usual five. The layout of this room was really well done.  The room was very spacious and had every feature you need plus more!  When you walk into the room you enter into the foyer which has a table complete with a vanity chair, two closets, and a niche

AULANI = PARADISE

Aulani  is complete paradise!  Our family had a fantastic time at this hotel! I reserved the one bedroom Island view villa for our family of five but at check in we were upgraded to an ocean view!!!  We never get this kind of luck so we were beyond excited!!  It was late when we got to the room so we didn't get to see the view until morning but it was beautiful! The villa itself was extremely spacious with a kitchen area, banquet dining table, sofa bed and a hidden bed in the entertainment center.  The bathroom was accessible from both the foyer and the master bedroom.  The master bedroom had a king size bed, desk with a chair and a TV amore.  There were 2 balconies, one in the master bedroom and one in the living area.  I loved the colors of the Hawaiian decor and all the subtle Disney touches,   It was much more beautiful than these pictures depict: Now on to the resort!!  There is so much to do here we really needed more ti
